  • Every student is precious, cared for, valued, and loved.
  • We provide arts education that is fun, innovative, relevant and impactful.
  • The infusion of formal and informal training develops a versatile and well rounded artist.

BSOMA SAVES & IMPROVES LIVES IN THE COMMUNITY

We combine high arts education standards with the very best teachers, curriculum, life mentors, instruments, equipment, performance & travel opportunities available. We have a huge heart for people and helping them realize their fullest potential in the arts and in life.

THE PROBLEM

In the communities we serve, a child’s life is at risk everyday. A student’s request for lessons are often ignored. Parents can’t afford the monthly costs. Most schools don’t provide all four arts disciplines. Affordable arts opportunities are rare. Entire band and orchestra programs are being shut down constantly. School districts are reducing arts instructional time.

THE ANSWER

We listen to the people and prioritize their most urgent needs. We’ve done our research and concluded that the twin cities community desperately needs affordable arts access. We’ve decided to truly be committed to change and go a step further by providing pay what you can & free arts instruction to the people who need it most. We think big, start small, and take responsible steps to benefit the greatest number of students and families.
